Can't find Albergue to Book in Ponteverda ,, Any Help ? July 20

Hello Pilgrims ,

I still can't find a place for our Group of 7 Pilgrims in Ponteverda for the Night of 20 July 2015 ,,, All What i found are public Albergue which can't be booked . First we were just 2 walking and it Won't have been a problem , but since now we are 7 , a pre-booking is more advisable ...

could anyone recommend a good One which i can book ?

Except for the albergue just when you enter Pontevedra there are some hotels and hostals .So I am afraid you have to go to the albergue which I think there will be place enough for 7 or book one or two hostals ahead. Few weeks ago we slept in hostal Maruja. next door is another one too so you could devide the group into two for sleeping and do the rest together.

One stop before Pontevedra in Cessantes just 3 km north of Redondela is refuxio de Jerezana. You find it on Facebook. You can call in advance to reserve your place. Very nice. Kind hospitalera, Marie, far better than the municipal albergue of Redondela

If you are walking to Ponferrada from El Acebo or Molinaseco try El Val only 1 k off route. The hacienda was wonderful November 2014; both private rooms and an albergue dorm are available. The hacienda is located in Salas de los Barios off the CF between Molinasecca and Campos. Call Jorge the hospitalero owner at the number listed on the web. He will arrange to meet/greet you. He offers fine albergue dorms as well as private accommodation. Tours to Las Medulas nearby Roman gold mines can also be arranged. All is SPLENDID!

We just stayed in the Aloxa Hostel. You can book there. It's just down the road from the public albergue.

I might throw a spanner in the works....is there any chance of you stopping in Arcade instead? A new hostel has just opened there and is fantastic!!!! Full kitchen facilities with supermarkets nearby. Amazing bunks, each with their own power point and lockable drawer. Sheets. Spotless showers. 10 euros.
