I know commercial interests aren't allowed here, but I thought today would be an exception. This is just to let you know I'm taking pre-orders for my new Fiboconcha XD carbon-fibre camino shell. It's now 14% lighter than the previous model.

You're not going to want to load your ultralight pack down with a clunky old fashioned shell, which can weigh anything up to 100 grammes. This is where my new product comes in. PM me if you're interested. These are a limited edition run, so first come first served...

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

If it resists 500lbs, can I use it as a step to reach those shelves that are always a millimeter too high in the albergues kitchen? :D

Teflon coated means I can use it to slurp Caldo gallego and it will be clean again with a quick wipe?

Due to the modern materials, will i still be considered a true pilgrim if I carry a Fiboconcha?

I gave up carrying the shell, they were always breaking leaving me with a shard hanging from a red string. Now I have a blue shell patch that doesn't break and is not as heavy.
