I only hope that the people who rely on tourism can somehow survive this, assuming, you know that they survive the issue of the virus itself.

Completely crazy... The whole CF (& all other ways in Spain) except Galicia is turning red. And as you posted earlier, @ivar , Galicia seems to follow, taking down the whole Camino. It is so sad.
 
As of 2pm Friday October 30th and until (at least) 2pm Monday November 9th, Castilla y León will lock down. That means no entering or leaving the Autonomous Community.
You can still leave Castilla y León for the purpose of traveling home, and if your ticket home is from Galicia, which is not currently in lockdown, it may still be possible for the few pilgrims currently in the region to finish.

Just not possible for pilgrims to start a Camino.

things here change over night, and the restrictions, curfew times, start and end dates, closures, etc. are very different from one region to another. most spaniards i know, myself included, have simply given up with the idea of travel until...
