Got up later than usual, got ready and out the door I went.
Walking through the city center I came upon a farmers market and couldn't help but walk through and sample as many of the things we do see in the states.
I also purchased a salmon pate quiche and had a fresh cut slice of salmon added to it
(Oh so good)!
I then began my walking day only to find the Via Francigena app is currently down due to it being hacked according to their web site.
So this being the case I had to resort to plan "B" and use Google maps. Needless to say my feet are killing me right now.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Glad you're still going well @Bob from L.A. !, even if a little footsore.

With rampant inflation biting everywhere, how are you finding costs?...food, accommodation or other essentials?
The prices on the market produce even when converted (to AUD in my case) are still cheaper than we're paying here although I can't comment on the fish.

Also what day# are you up to?

Sempre avanti...forever forward! 🤗

Thanks for the update Bob! Just another reason I am glad I made my own customizable and downloadable map in Alltrails.

But in case you don't know - when the app is back up and you are connected to wi-fi... the maps in the app are downloadable for offline use too.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
As far as accommodations, I booked everything months in advance whic h saved me a lot of money

For example where I am staying tonight I booked 5 months ago and paid $40 US.
If I tried to book it today on booking it was $110.00.

Yes - I too found places that have online reservations were cheaper months ago. And the cheap places filled up fast. And Switzerland - prices increased drastically.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
