Awoke this morning in Epernay to bright blue skies, a glaring sun and temperatures starting to rise.
Left walking through the city center where people, eating Al Fresco were already enjoying Champagne with their breakfasts.
Walked through multiple vineyards and eventually along a river for a number of miles before reaching Chalons.
Went into several beautiful churches along the way, took lots of photos and eventually had a wonderful dinner and a beer to help my feet recover from a 20 mile day.
