Hello fellow pilgrims! My name is Tatiana and I have been planning this journey for over 11 years, since first reading Shirley MacLaine's and Paulo Coelho's books. My friend and colleague Kristin will be my companion and as we have both trekked across a bit of Europe, South America and the Middle East, we may have overestimated ourselves. After our first all day backpacking test venture in the North Carolina, USA wood trails, we were feeling it! :?
Looking forward to meeting fellow pilgrims and making rich memories between mid June thru mid July!
Bon Camino,
Tatiana

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Cool deal. I'll be a few days in front of you (June 10th) but if you pass a gangly guy with a Texas flag on his pack, say hi.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Hello Everyone,
I will be just a few days behind. I start from SJPdP on June 15th. So excited and nervous. I have never done anything like this before. I'm not a world traveler, an experienced hiker, or a Spanish speaker. I am just placing myself in St. James' hands and trusting "the way." I hope to meet some of you soon.

Hi,
I'm Sally and I'll be leaving St Jean Pied de Port on 16 June 2012, hoping to arrive in Santiago on 24 July 2012 and staying there to celebrate St James's Day. I hope we'll cross paths at some point. I live in Australia and have only just started to learn some Spanish.... Una cerveza por favor will do for starters!

Looking forward to meeting all of you friendly and eager pilgrims leaving from St. Jean around June 13th! Kristin and I will be easy to pick out by our hot pink and puple hats, blonde braids and unintentional matching backpacks! Come on up and say hello or buenos dias!
See you soon, Tatiana
