Hello,
I am planning on walking the Via-de-la-Plata Camino in June. I was wondering whether there are Pilgrims who might be able to offer advice about albergues in Rionegro del Puente and Asturianos.
Many Thanks,

Hi, Cobar,
Welcome to the forum. I haven't stayed in the albergue in Asturianos, but understand that it is in the polideportivo. Rionegro has a municipal albergue that is quite nice and is located across the street from a restaurant that everyone raves about, called Me Gusta Comer. What kind of advice are you looking for?

Gronze.com has good information on all the albergues and other accommodations along the Vdlp and Sanabrés. In my experience it is the most up to date website on Camino offerings.

Buen camino, Laurie

Stayed in Asturianos twice, perfectly fine small albergue off the back of the sportshall. Separate clean showers and toilets for males/females and cosy bar with food next door. Long walk if you go into the village but no need really. Loved Rionegro albergue and Me Gusta Comer as Laurie stated.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
