Has anyone flown on Condor Airlines, and if so how was your experience?

They have a decent price and good routing to fly into Paris for my Camino this year.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
I don’t think so but they are well known in Europe and have a long established and good reputation. Big players in the leisure industry and I think operate scheduled stuff too, which is a model adopted by German and UK leisure operators. Think they are in the ascendency post some high profile ownership changes liked to UK leisure industry. I know you know your stuff, and guess you are aware of Skytrax which is a prestigious body in Europe so have a look there if you haven’t already.

Thanks for your response @TravellingMan2022.
The only issue that I'm having is that their flights to return to the States is more than double the cost of the outbound flight to Paris for the dates that I need.

Ah ok! Sorry to hear that. Are you travelling from European to USA in Euro school holidays? They are very leisure orientated and their flights will probably be even more skewed due to this than wholly scheduled operators.

You're right, it probably is because of school holidays because the price goes way up mid June and stays there until September when it drops again.

I'm doing some preliminary research for a group that I'm going to accompany as far as Pamplona. I normally buy my flights with air miles.

Ues
yes that mirrors the European school calendar!! Good luck with the research!

Guides that will let you complete the journey your way.
@trecile , I flew Seattle to Frankfurt with chg to Paris - one way - in Oct. i thought it was well done! Well organized, good service, inexpensive.

You should check out Level Airlines. I flew them from New York to Barcelona last October. The cost was by far the lowest that I found. I had to bring food and a drink on the flight. The plane was brand new and the seats comfortable. I always get exit row seats so I had plenty of legroom. The airline is associated with Iberia. I know they fly from San Francisco to Barcelona nonstop and the fares were excellent. I do not know when you are flying and when I checked I used dates I normally fly, which is mid October to early December. If you want extra luggage or food you pay for it of course. I got the basic fare that allowed for my backpack in the overhead and nothing else. Oh yea if you want to go to Paris you have to stop in Barcelona and change plans and it is a higher cost.

Flew Condor from Frankfurt to Seattle last fall. The WORST airline I’ve flown on in quite some time, possibly ever. Flight staff was rude. Services were minimal. The plane was really old. Audio was broken in one seat and video broken in the one I switched to. Seat hardware literally broken and falling apart. I didn’t feel safe in the plane. Staff acted annoyed with me and other passengers who asked for help. Plane was freezing. The longest flight I’ve been on ever. Well at least it seemed that way. I fly a lot and I fly cheap and accept that it is what it is. But this flight was beyond my high tolerance for typical crappy air travel. I pledged to never fly condor again.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
Thanks @lt56ny for the suggestion. I have checked Level Airlines, and the price wasn't much lower than flying on United from Southern Oregon. Any cost savings would be used (and more) getting to San Francisco.

Basically the other half of my flight TO Seattle. How could it be such a drastically different experience? Everything that could be wrong was. Well, the plane stayed in the air and the landing was ok. So there’s that.

Package Holiday-oriented seasonal operator. No bells or whistles. Will get you there safely but nothing more.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
