We have been using Jacotrans to transport my backpack (but not my husband's) for 7 euro (or sometimes 6) but have heard good things from those who use Correos. We got one of their envelopes and noticed that it said we could buy pre-paid cards with a discount at any Correos office. We went into the local post office here in Sahagun and picked up a 5 stage card for $20 - 4 euro each! Such a deal!

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
Don't know if this is true or just "transport co" talk, but one thing that was brought to my attention is that if for some reason Correos misses or misplaces a bag it will not correct the mistake until the next day ...

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
I don't know. Hope we never have that experience.

One update - you have 2 choices of informing of your transport - email or phone. We chose email, but they apparently do not acknowledge your request. When we didn't hear anything from them by the next morning we got worried, so went to the nearest Correos office (a block away). The person there did not understand English and in my poor Spanish I could not communicate to him my concern, in fact he did not seem to know much about the mimochila service at all. So we called the phone number. They did have us in the system. From now on we will avoid email and call them instead.

Interesting option. Since I have lost a couple of lista de correos packets in old times, may be a day to day correospacket is easier. Wonder if it is possible to manage this online from home and pay online. Tried to find out on Margareths link, but only saw the mail and phonenumber. Might of course send a mail and ask.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
