Way of Saint Francis April 2017
I'm thinking of repeating the French route next April/May next year. The last time I walked the French way was 2016. Would like to know the current cost of a albergue and pilgrim's meal.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
Everything is up a bit (even from last year), but there is no “one price” for am albergue or a pilgrim’s meal since there is so much variety to each.

Generally, everything gets a bit cheaper as you move from SJPdP to Santiago. Gronze.com updates it’s info each year, so you can check accommodation prices there.

GENERALLY, this year I’ve seen munis costing 6€ to 13€, privates from 12€ to 38€ (that high end is with dinner). Pilgrim meals have been averaging around 12€.

I’d increase that by 10% if you are walking next season.

Thanks. Albergue prices appear the same. Pilgrim meal is up 2 €.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

You can still find "menu de peregrinos" at 10 € in many places.. I had today a menu for 12 :1 plate of shells (scalopps), +1 plate of fried fishes with salad and french fries + 1 dessert (strawberry and cream) +1 large café +1 bottle of water.

In Sanguesa (Aragon): 16€ for soup and the best darn duck confit you can possible hope for in this life! (Plus wine and dessert, of course!). Muni is 5€ for non-bunked beds with a clean sheet and pillowcase! 👍

It cost 10 Euro incl wine, when I walked my first Camino in 2006.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Darn! We are going from Leon this year and I was hoping to find pilgrim meal prices similar to our 2015 Camino which was typically 10 euro for a meal that included wine.

I had menus for 10 euros last October on the Frances between leo n and sarria

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
