Desvío at Padornelo

There's quite a big article (including front page tease) in today's La Opinión (Zamora's daily newspaper) saying that the AVE tunnelling between Padornelo and Requejo will mean that the camino there is "cortan". I can't be sure from the piece, but infer that pilgrims will just have to slog up the N525 for the next few months, while they sort out the AVE works - it isn't at all clear. Unnamed pilgrims are quoted criticising the failure to provide alternative routes.

The article doesn't seem to be online yet, but I assume if you "google news" a mixed combination of Padornelo, camino, AVE and Requejo in the next couple of days you'll get the full text if you want it.
