The Camino goes a long way toward taking away labels, especially holiday labels. How nice is that?

If it hasn't rained heavily and the temperature is pleasant, the teepees are OK. On the other hands, the albergue has good beds, primitive sanitary, a large "garden", and a "bon vivant" owner. (don't disturb him when he has a late afternoon lunch with local friends)
Help yourself to check in, have a beer and pay later. :lol:

That sounds a great story! I will remember that very important tip about self check-in next time. The beer would be well earnt, rain or shne. I confess it is hard to imagine it raining because it was so hot when we were there - yet we know about rain from El Camino! Best to you. Catherine
