I eventually came in via the coast from Baiona at Samil beach front and was advised by locals to take the bus (l was nr Aveinda Europa) to the casco vello. I decided to walk even tho some of this initially was on busy main rd and did find yellow arrows but it was a loooong walk. There is a website that shows vigo public transport routes http://rutas.vitrasa.es/calculo.aspx
