Sweet wine of sleep
Deep and full of promise,forgetfullness and longing for intoxication from the river lethe
One to cut the ties of wakefull attachement
One to weigh the day
One to whisper the deep dreams
The Fates call for sleep...
Where will I find myself tonite
Some far off day
Some far off way
My soul is free
My body stays...
Anchors in a muddy bay keep me suspended in the day
The promise of rest are distant rays across the bay
Slackend sails and awaiting the tales to come
Its a bitter copper to taste..awaiting sails to raise..waiting...waiting
Clocks await the knots in waters deep
Pray and hope for a place for a souls keep
The sirens await the winds to turn
A song for ears to yearn
But the day.... and sleep is long to return
Sweet wine of sleep...for that i burn..
The smoke of the hours turn my eyes into ashes,
Turn...turn you clocks in urns
What have I saved you for?
Ashs of youth grown cold..
Echo.
Echoes....
Sweet sussurations and easing load
I turn at last to Santiago
And begin the journey home...
