First Camino

Hello everyone,

My name is Larry H. Lyda from Spring City, TN.
I am 57 years old and retired.
I will be starting my first Camino hopefully on September 1, 2012 in St Jean Pied de Port.

Allowing myself until Oct 10 to finish.

Hope to meet some of you on the way!!!!

When I decided to walk I set it up for Sept for a couple of reasons, the main one to allow time to prepare my gear. As a hiker, I have all the necessary stuff, but now I'm assembling ultra light equipment. With 69 days left until my flight (who is counthing? ) it seems like it will never get here. I am reading and learning a lot each day, I'm sure the real learning will be on the road!
