Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
hi

if you want to start in SJPP and walk over the pyranees then RYANAIR flies to Pau or Barritz for cheap prices.

Last time I did it I flew into Bilbao and started in Burgos. That was a three week walk.

The national organization of airports in Spain - AENA : http://www.aena.es has a great website that explains how to get to and from the major city for your airport of choice. It also has information regarding the routes serviced, the corresponding airlines, terminal information, and much more. You may have to re-click the "English" tab at the top once you have chosen your airport.

Good luck and buen camino!
