If on your first day, you make it to Villafranca del Bierzo, take the route through the vineyards instead of the road. You'll be tired but content. Albergue de la Piedra is very nice. The grapes are Mencia, if you like red wine, try the local. O'Cebrieo awaits, enjoy the rewards of your climb. Buen Camino!
