Camino Frances 2016
I will be doing the camino Frances from Burgos to SdC in may/june.
I am coming to Madrid late night, and want to stay on a hotel near the bus-station to go by bus to Burgos the next day.
Anyone who know where the bus station is located at the airport (I imagine it is huge...),
and also: Anyone who have hotel recomendation near the bus station?

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Hi @Hans Olav and welcome! The bus station at the airport is at Terminal 4, which is quite a distance from the other terminals, but there are free transit buses between the terminals every ten minutes I think. It is signposted in the airport and is quick and easy. I don't know any hotels but if you find the airport website I'm sure there is info there about the hotels nearby and also how to get to the buses. Buen Camino (og god tur)!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

There is no pedestrian access to the Madrid airport even though there are a lot of hotels nearby that look to be walking distance. Pick a hotel near the train or subway line to the airport for its bus stop, or near the bus station downtown.

there are no hotels 'at the airport' per se. there are several near the airport with free shuttle buses from the aiport. if you are skipping madrid city, then jump on booking.com and find a deal near the hotel.

however, the city is close to teh airport (15 minutes without traffic, 20 minutes by metro or train), which is worth a walk around and there will be cheaper accommodation options. there is also a main bus station in town with easy access via the metro in case you do not want to go back out to the airport (same bus compnay ALSA, same routes).

I will arrive at Madrid airport at 2230. Do you know if the EMT Madrid bus 200 will still go so late at night?

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Thanks! I understand that Avenida de America holds the bus station for the bus to Burgos?
And that there are many hotels located there?

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
I think the two hotels closest to the Avenida de America "Intercambiador" (that's the name of the bus station) are Abba Madrid and AC Hotel AV. De America.

...and the NH Príncipe de Vergara and the Hotel Dormirdcine that are even a bit closer.

I really apreciate all info from all of you! Thanks everyone....
