Getting from Estella to Biaritz airport 21st July

Rome to Rio saying there's a bus from Estella (Lizarra).to San Sebastian 1.5 hours travel time... leaving 08.15am...bus company named La Estella SA...i can't see that route on their site...I emailed ..no reply yet... Anybody taken this bus service..is it reliable..do you buy your ticket in advance and from whom

Try Estella to Irun. I’ve taken a morning bus from Estella to Irun - right on the border with France, closer than San Sebastián. From Irun you can take a train a few minutes to Hendaye then on to Biarritz. It’s sounds more complicated than it is.

It was a few years ago but I recall the bus left Estella around 8.30 and it was a fairly short trip to Irun - maybe 90 minutes. Timetable may have changed. I pre booked on their website.

As a new member, i'm reading on the forum about not trusting rome to rio too much. The bus company named on rome to rio La Estella SA isn't listing Estella to Irun route either. For me seeing a listing and prebooking my ticket is believing.
In an ideal world i'd walk on 20th July from Estella to Los Arcos (instead of waiting around Estella for an extra day) and depart Friday 21st from Los Arcos, to catch a 14,30 flight from the airport. Is that wishful thinking?
Anyone taken a bus from Los Arcos or Estella to Biaritz Airport this summer (2023) and knows the times and current timetables and bus company. Finding the bus company La Estella SA website a maize

Hi there. I think that trying to get from Los Arcos to Biarritz airport for a 14.30 flight would be difficult.

I just looked at the La Estella website and can see the bus that @J Willhaus mentions, leaving Estella at 10.45.

Edited to add. Same day leaves you very little wiggle room even if you have quick connections. I’d leave the Camino the day before the flight.

Arrival Irun at 12:40 makes it unlikely that you would make your flight even with a taxi driver descended from Fernando Alonso.

In your situation I would travel Estella - Irun or even Biarritz on 20 July and enjoy an evening in one of them. Both great places to visit, even if for only one night.
