Tui to Santiago 2017. Considering walking French way 100k this year or coastal route
Hi, Pilgrims, It seems difficult to get to Sarria from Santiago De Compostello airport by public transport. Taking 4 hours plus. Any suggestions or advice? Or if anyone is travelling on 2nd June afternoon and would like to share a taxi with 2 others? BB

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Taxi takes about 90 minutes and costs about €130. Among many companies you can pre-book with include:
You can get a bus from the airport to Lugo with a company called Empresa Freire and then from Lugo to Sarria with a company called Monbus. The total cost is about €15 and takes about 3 hours.
Depending on which flight you arrive in on you may find other pilrims also looking for a taxi to Sarria who may be willing to share. If you don't get anyone to share with here it is worth asking at the taxi rank queue if anyone is travelling to Sarria and wishes to share.

Buen Camino!

There will be many people with the same problem. Last year at the bus station my brother just asked those nearest to him if they would share a taxi. He said it didn’t break the bank and saved him hours waiting. Dee
