Hi Jill and welcome to the Forum!

As Sandra has indicated, with a bit of searching,you can find answers to most of your questions.

In the upper right hand of the page is a search engine...just insert your question, i.e. bed bugs and you'll be taken to several topics and threads that specifically deal with that question.

SJPDP is a top starting point for the Camino Frances and there are several easy ways to get there...especially from England.

Take a sec and you'll get a mountain of info.

If you can't find what you want...then ask and one of the many veterans of the Forum will jump right in and provide an answer or guidance.

Get to Biarritz...bus to Bayonne, then small train to SJPP. If you can't get directly to Biarritz, connect through Paris.
