Going in September

Hi all

I will be doing my first solo camino starting in September 29. I will be doing the Frances again after previously doing it with my sister in 2016. Since then I have done the Le Puy Route (2018) and last year the Portuguese from Lisbon to Santiago.

This year I am looking forward to walking all the way to Finisterre and Muxia assuming time allows. I am resigning from my full time job just prior to this camino so it will be great timing to reflect and plan for my future. I look forward to meeting others on the way. A little nervous about going solo but know I will be fine.

Hi Lynda, that's a very exciting plan. A long walk is a perfect transition between work and whatever comes next. I can understand your nervousness about going solo, but it sounds like the perfect way to do this. Wishing you a Buen Camino!

Sounds like a great plan to me! I did the same in 2016 on the Frances. Retired, sold my house and walked sola. Found a beautiful Camino family (and I'm an introvert) and never felt scared or lonely. It gave me time to consider moving forward with my life in a new Way. Buen Camino and Ultreia without fear!
