The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Well done, these savings will allow for a very nice celebration-start-of-the-Camino meal and a bottle of wine in SJPDP! Buen Camino! SY

Good deal! Do check where that train drops you off in Paris. The cheaper airlines seem always to touch down 80-90 kilometers away from Paris, you might save ona flight but getting in will cost time and money. Paris has train stations all over the place most linked by the Metro so do check just which end of Paris you may find yourself.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
A long time in the smoke! Paris to Bayonne by train as well I guess. There will be an across Paris transfer? All in all a long time travelling. Good luck with that. Enjoy your first Camino and keep away from the phone, keyboard and travel agents when you get back.

If I remember correctly the Eurostar terminates at Gare Nord and one can take the metro to Gare Montparnasse to catch the TGV to Bayonne in a matter of less than 30 minutes. N'est pas?

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

That is correct sir

I travel on the saturday to London. stay at my sons for the weekend. then Monday 18th catch the Eurostar. Arrive 09:30ish, Metro across Paris then 5.5 hours to Bayonne. I may stay there for the night. then I'm winging it and have not booked any return travel as yet.. maybe an easyjet from Santiago to Gatwick for £50 or Santader ferry back. will decide when or if I make it to Santiago.. Also, just want to say how invaluable I have found this forum.over the last few months, so thank you to all.
