Just follow the yellow waymarkers. No need for electronic devices !I am taking a group from Adelaide on the Portuguese camino from Ponte de Lima to Santiago in May 2017. Does anyone have the GPS coordinates To download to My Garmin eTrex 30?
Starting in Ponte de Lima you have not much choice. It is the waymarked path over the Alto da Portela grande mountain to Rubiães and then the route through the villages to Valença do Minho and so forth into Spain. The only alternative is follow the motorway or the national route but this is not a good idea.Albertinho, I agree. But to be honest, there is nothing wrong with research. Some paths my friend and I took were far safer because we knew where to go and the markers weren't good at some places.
