Hi. My wife and I walked a section of el Norte last year from Bilbao to San Vicente de la Barquera. We went off route somewhere to follow a ruta verde which was marked along the coast, and then joined the recommended route. I can't remember where it began. Possibly from Castro Urdiales? Can anyone help? Cheers. Michael
