The adventure begins. Plan, train, plan, plan that is part of the process. On day one though ten you will most likely realize how right or wrong you got the planning and training. ENJOY! I can tell you on day one I realized how wrong I got both the planning and training. If you unfortunately end up like me and get it wrong just keep going you figure it out within the first ten days.
I'm also heading out around that time of year. Have been doing 5-10k most days, but now need to kick that mileage up over the spring and summer. I've enjoyed the late summer, early autumn time in the past, but you may still be catching some fairly hot days on the meseta. Plenty of water and stops for a drink is my plan!
