I just found this forum, while researching the Camino. It looks like a very good group of people here, and a lot of great information.

Somehow, it seems that I have already started the Camino, even though the plane ride to France will be in God's hands, sometime in the future.
Welcome! :)

I was talking about the Camino with my God-daughter on Tuesday. Something clicked in her and she booked a flight to Spain, leaving this Friday.

While helping her pick out gear today at REI, 4 people walked up out of nowhere, having heard our conversation about the Camino, and offered really good advice on boots, packs, etc. Just the very things we needed to know. They had all just returned or they had made the pilgrimage before.

There is something strange and magical about this Camino...

Buen Camino Marcus for you and your God-daughter. Ivar's forum has been an asset to me. What's the Venator & image all about?

My GodDaughter called this morning, and happily reported that she made it over the path from SJPP through mist and fog. So, day-1 has gone well!

"Venator" is just my family's original surname. And the avatar is the Lion of St. Mark, my patron saint.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
