Hello - Planning a 2 year trip!

Hi,
I'm Liam, I'm planning a 2 year trip from England across Africa starting in 2012. I'm going to be coming across from St Malo to St Jean then down to Huesca and on. Has anybody done the pilgrimage from Mt Saint Michel or Redon or Tours? I'd really appreciate some advice on the route, good maps and maybe even accomodation. I'm going to be carrying a tent with me but it would be nice to find some hostels or French Albergues. It's a personal trip but I am going to be sponsored to raise funds for some worthy charities. Hi Liam,
A good book to read would be Paula Constant's, "Slow Journey South". She walked from England, down through France to Santiago, then down through Portugal and Spain into Morocco. She has written a followup book as well.
