Hello,
As suggested, I am posting this to introduce myself. I would also post a photo, as suggested, if I could figure out how to do so.
I’m a working writer based in Los Angeles; however I travel about six to eight months a year - mostly in Europe these days. My acquaintance with the Camino dates from many years ago and my fascination with the pilgrimage goes back over three decades and is part of my love affair with Spain.
I have not yet walked the entire Camino, and have not even set foot in northern Spain recently, let alone the path of St. James. Although I have twice in recent years set out to walk the Camino. I was stopped once by a death in my family, the second time by an injury.
I am amazed to find this community, and to learn of the renewed interest in this unique undertaking. As I can best recall from 1968, pilgrims on the Camino were at that time rare creatures. It is my hope that I will be able to meet some of you on the road later this year.
Best regards,
Morgan
