I'm looking for a Italian speaking person to join me a few days and help me to improve my Italian speaking. I'm plan to start In April '15 from St Jean pdp.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Hi Marcel. April is one of the busiest months for SJPP departures, and the Italians are well represented on the Camino. I'm sure you'll have plenty of opportunities to improve your Italian. Good luck!

Hi Tyrrek. Surprising answer
First: we thought it would be the beginning off the season (hostels opening) so quit!
Second: an Italian friend told me you'll find Italian only at the last 200 km because the won't walk the whole track.
We'll see

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
You will. April and May are busy for those walking from SJPP, as they want to avoid the summer heat. The same is true in autumn (esp. September). High summer is busiest for those starting closer to Santiago. It's true that there are fewer Italians than Spanish, French or Germans, but they are definitely out there!

Have a look at these chart to see how the busy periods varied over last year. http://www.caminodesantiago.me/comm...e-the-busy-periods-on-the-camino-frances.114/

I agree completely. I walked the Frances last April and first week in May and met plenty of Italians, men and women, young and old. Without exception they were very talkative and friendly. Two of the Italians I met even carried a young Korean woman's backpack (slung on their wood walking staff between their shoulders) because she had serious blisters on her feet. Another Italian couple shared their sandwich with me in the middle of nowhere. Another group of Italians sang every night after dinner (in the restaurant). Marcel should have no problem practicing Italiano with the helpful and fun loving Italians!!
