Help contacting the pilgrims office in SJPP

Hi all,

As some of you know, I used to run the Camino Travel Center in santiago, where we offered luggage storage for pilgrims. This service is now offered by Manuel at Pension Badalada in Santiago.

I have now closed the Travel Center (a while back) but it seems like some places still send parcels to my old address. They are automatically forwarded to Manuel but pilgrims might be confused, trying to go to my old adress....

Anyway, it seems like the Albergue in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port have a posting (on a bulletin board or on the wall) that people can mail parcels to my old address.

If someone passes by the albergue in the near future, could they please make sure that they update this information? ...removing my old address (in Rua de San Pedro) and adding the address of Manuels Pension:
Ivar Rekve
ATT: [Your name goes here]
Travesía da Universidade 1
15704 Santiago de Compostela
La Coruña
Spain

Sometimes they ask for my contact phone number. If so, please use: (+34) 603 466 490

Another misconception is that this is a free service... more info here:

Thanks for your help!!
Ivar

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Ivar - perhaps you could also email the Pilgrim Office in St Jean?

The latest email address I have for them is: caminopa@hotmail.com.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Thanks for the tip Sil... but we figured it out. There was a note at the SJPP post office (and not the albergue). We have now talked to them and updated the info, so that the parcels are shipped correctly.

Thanks!
Ivar
