Time of past OR future Camino
camino frances
I am completing the Camino Frances in stages. I have to leave from HONTANAS or Castrojeriz to get on a plane in Madrid this time.

Does anyone know:
How do I get to Madrid from Castrojeriz?

I have to get on a plane in Madrid by 1 PM so I probably need to be in Madrid the day before.

Use www.Rome2Rio.com to see various routes. Non are direct unfortunately. Good luck and Buen camino!

Guides that will let you complete the journey your way.
The ALSA bus first stops in downtown Madrid and you change to a waiting bus back out tothe airport. Unless things have changed, ALSA makes but few rest stops requiring pasengers to possess a watermellon sized bladder. Plan well

Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
buses do go there and leave there..had friends take a bus from there to Burgos.

On my first camino I got a taxi from Castrojeriz back to Burgos then a bus to Madrid airport. There is an early morning bus from Castrojeriz (well there was in 2013 but only Monday to Friday) to Burgos but unfortunately for me I was travelling on a Saturday. You could see if there is a bus to Fromista where you can get a train
