Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

In regards to amount of pilgrims, look on the website for the pilgrim's office in Santiago and see how many arrived last year on the dates you intend to walk.

Walked the CF starting in SJPP during September-October last year, only a couple of morning with rain [no big deal], not crowded until we reached Sarria, from that point on the camino was busy but I loved walking with the crowds. Good luck with your planning and execution. You are going to LOVE the camino. Buena suerte, y que la luz de Dios alumbre su camino.

We did the Camino in 2012 over September, October. Sept was fine but October got really cold. Gloves, scarves, we even bought a vest & long johns! And of course the rain!
Some albergues were quite full over the weekends. So make sure you get there early or if you can pre book. We did not find it very busy except for the last 100 kms. Planning to walk again this year. Hopefully early September. buen Camino
