I am walking camino frances October 26th

Greetings, I start at SJPdeP October 26 th.I didn't bother booking hostels as I think it should be ok as its a quite time ? Am I correct? I plan to phone book a day ahead.
I walk from SJ PreP to Pamplone, and naverette to Burgos as I did Pamplona-naverette last year.
I'm male 65 and can only do the Camino in sections as I mind grandkids .
Looking forward to hearing from anyone going around same time.I walk October 26th to November 3rd
