From the Chairman; it is hard to tell what it really means. It may just be preemptive public relations, or it may mean that it is advisable to buy tickets elsewhere!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

That may not be true. In the U.S. you have 60 days from the date of the credit card bill with the charge on it, to dispute a charge. After that, you have to line up with the other creditors in the bankruptcy process! So if you purchase your Iberia ticket far in advance, there is a small risk. All of British Airways profits have been wiped out by its acquisition of Iberia, and it is talking about acquiring Vueling. Even if a ticket remains valid, labor actions by pilots and cabin crew could disrupt a particular flight. BA is suing Iberia unions. The unions are upset by the 4,500 layoffs that have been announced. None of this is comforting to passengers, particularly the ones who have to transit Heathrow, the eighth ring of Dante's hell.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
Iberia used to fly to and from South Africa 5 out of 7 days. And their flights were alway choc-a-block full.
Then the merged with BA and started sharing the routes - BA to Spain via Heathrow. South African's don't like flying to London because they have to have a transit visa that costs over R1000 (± €100) extra so they all crammed on the few Iberia flights.
In May this year Iberia stopped flying to South Africa altogether. Perhaps they need to come back and we will fill their flights!

Iberia dropped the direct flight to Madrid from Washington, DC after the merger, too. It was full sometimes, and empty others. British Airways continues the Dulles to Heathrow flight, connecting then to Madrid. A lot of transit time had now been added.

Maybe we Europeans have different stand point when it comes to air line bankruptcies and air line tickets. I just know that when Spanair went down I had 4 return tickets (2 for me and 2 for my son &girlfriend). One ticket (my camino ticket Stockholm- Barcelona- Bilbao) was purchaced a long time before the bankcruptcy - the three others (Stockholm- Barcelona) 5-6 weeks before. All paid with Amex.
There was no problem whatsoever getting all the money returned to my account - all correspondence was done by e- mail - no telephone calls. I e- mailed Amex a copy of our e- tickets with the 13- figure ticket number and that was all. Of course there is much more money involved in the overseas tickets than in our tickets.

I agree about the Heathrow airport - Dante´s hell right on!

And I admit I didnt´read the whole text written by the Chairman - maybe I am missing something.
