- Time of past OR future Camino
- 2015-2023 walked all or part of CF 11 times
A friend of mine, who knew we were walking the Camino last year, asked that we remember her daughter and son in law who were trying to have a child but who were having great difficulty bringing a child into this world. WE carried this intention in our hearts, and when we got to Cruz de Ferro in the middle of a blizzard, we placed our rockfor their intention. TOday I received this note from my friend:
Dear
I wanted you to be among the first to know that my daughter, and her husband, Brian, are nowthe proud parents of James [last name removed by moderator] -- a happy and healthy baby boy.
Both are doing well.
When it was 'safe' to ask them the name they had chosen for the baby -- when you have IVF/multiple ultrasounds there are no surprises -- she said they'd chosen James. I asked her if this had been one of her 'baby names' meaning a name long ago secretly chosen.
Sarah replied that she and Brian were sitting together a day or so ago and suddenly she just thought 'I want to name the baby James' . . . she told Brian and he immediately agreed. They had never considered James as a name for the baby before.
I do not consider this choice a coincidence. It's a testimony to the miracle of prayer.
Please know how grateful I am for your prayers -- especially on your pilgrimage.
May James be a bright light for our world! Keep him in your prayers pilgrims!
