JGP May-June 2017 Camino Francés

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Welcome. You have plenty of time to research, and ask questions when you aren't able to find an answer to your specific question. Just remember that for some questions, there will be a broad and diverse range of advice for you to filter through. In the end, it is going to be your camino, and while we can help by sharing what has worked for us, you will need to apply that advice to your own circumstances.

I hope you enjoy your preparation and then your pilgrimage.

Buen camino

I'll be 62 and this being my first pilgrimage of any sort, I'll be learning on the hoof so to speak.
Looking forward to meeting many travelers on the same road but a different journey.
Buen Camino.
Hi , and welcome to this wonderful Camino family . Wish you happy planning and a Buen Camino ,Peter .

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Take every day as it comes, don't have any expectations and you'll really be surprised at the outcome.
Enjoy the planning it's great fun, but don't over plan, go with the wind when you start the journey.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Have just committed serious travel funds to this endeavor.
Will be starting out from SJPDP for Orisson on May 3rd.
Physical training program is on track.
Doing a lot of reading on both the inner and outer journey prep.
(Currently watching "Tres En El Camino" on YouTube Interesting story and a good way to immerse oneself in Espaniol as all subtitles are in Spanish. )

Lurking in this forum is both informative and motivating. Muchos Gracias, companeros peregrinos!

Hi Panagiotis,

My first day will be a light one as I'll only be going so far as Orisson. I expect to be adjusting to a 9 hour time change, getting the kinks out of my walking gear, etc.

Looking forward to meeting up with you along the way though.

Buen Camino,

- Jason

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
