Hey Guys,

I was wondering if you could let me know if there is a bus from Santiago De Compostela to Sierra?. I am flying into SDC Airport and will be arriving at 4.30pm. I would like to start walking from Sierra the next morning.

Could you please also advise that I would be able to get somewhere to stay in Sierra (very reasonably priced) that late in the evening, as i have heard it is a very busy time.

Also, where do you pick up the Pilgrim Passport?.

Lots of questions!!!!!

Thank you in advance for you reply's.

Kindest regards,

Mary

Hi @Mary Lisa Nolan - are you meaning Sarria? I can't place a town called Sierra (spellcheck again?)

I'll assume you mean Sarria. Here's a thread with all the information about getting from Santiago airport to Sarria:

The easiest way to get the pilgrim passport is from Ivar, who runs this forum. He will post it out to you so you have it before you leave home - here: https://www.santiagodecompostela.me...passport-from-the-pilgrims-office-in-santiago

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
