Buen Camino "Sprinto"... looking forward to our own Inglés, with The St. James' Way from Reading to Southampton over three weekends; followed by A Coruña to Santiago de Compostela, at the end of May

Buen Camino! On my arrival day I explored Ferrol and walked down to the start of the Camino. Then on the day I started walking, I just left from my hotel that was about one and a half kilometers from the start.

We stayed at the parador hotel and arrived by train
Nice hotel and great journey on the train with good views of your first 2 days walking

In addition to training it as @sprinto did, you can take the bus from SDC.

We stayed at the parador hotel

He-he! When I started my Camino Inglés, I stayed in about the cheapest hostel in Ferrol – on top a busy restaurant, but central and close to the Camino. Basic but fine for a one-night stay.

Wonderful. We arrived via train from Ourense. Staying in a clean and close to Camino the Hotel Almendra. Buen Camino

I stayed there too. I found it to be clean as well, and its also a short walk from the bus stations.
