We arrived in Santiago on Sept 13 and stayed until the day after the Vuelta cycling race. It was a busy time for those days in Santiago, but I can't imagine what would have felt like to arrive on Sept 15, the day that the race actually finished in front of the cathedral. Are there any pilgrims out there who arrived on this date and how would you rate this experience?
