Hey there,
We have decided to take a very last minute trip to walk the camino. Does anyone have any recommendations for a tour company to help us schedule our camino de ingles?

I have no experience with tour companies, but I've tagged this thread with "travel agencies/groups". If you click on the tag under the thread title, you can browse through those threads for ideas.

Since it's a short Camino you might want to make your own bookings. You'll find suggested stages (but you can create your own to suit you) and accommodation listings with contact information and links to booking.com for those properties that use it.

I completed this camino about ten days ago. There were six of us in my family group and we had no problem finding accommodation each day. We never booked ahead. By all means use a travel company if you wish but I can assure you that for such a short camino it is not essential.

For any camino, short or not, using a travel company is absolutely unnecessary. Even booking is unnecessary.

If you feel you must book, you can always book the first night and then go day by day from there.

Also, the Wise Pilgrim app is wonderful. You select which Camino you are doing, then you will see all the towns you will pass through along with the names of many hostels and albergues, both private and municipal. When you click in one you will see if they take reservations, how many beds they have, get their phone number, and you can also send them a request on WhatsApp. I found it invaluable.

I was able to reserve albergues for each night of my upcoming Camino Ingles by emailing them. Since I’m an older, slower pilgrim I prefer the security of a reserved bed rather than feeling I have to hurry along the way. I used Gronze and later John Brierley’s book to identify the towns I wanted to stay (Ferrol, Pontedueme, Betanzos, Bruma, Sigueiro, Santiago). Buen Camino
