Leaving tomorrow

I have to admit the time has flown by. I am packed and feel that I have surely forgot more than a few things. I really just wanted to say thank you to so many of you have offered advise. I leave for Paris tomorrow and will begin my first camino on April 7th. I could not decide which route to take so I am going to start on the camino France's and see where it takes me. If I end up on the primitivo or the norte then that is a bonus. My only concrete plan is to make it muxia and get on a plane in Santiago on may 13th.

I think your plan sounds perfect. Allow the Camino to reveal itself and decide then.

May you have the best of all journeys.

Hi Julie. I start the camino tomorrow at SJPdP and will also walk the camino Frances, then finish by walking the finisterre (including Muxia). The info office is telling me the route of Napoleon up over the Pyrenees is closed due to heavy snow and foul weather, but you can take a small detour on day 1 and still end at Roncesvalles at the end of day 1. This will allow you to continue on the Frances route. Buen camino! Be well. And namaste.

The forecast shows rain tonight and tomorrow. As of now, the mountain pass doesn't look too bad, but I'm sure that will change rapidly through the night.
