Hola Kieran!

and welcome to the Forum!
You sure will meet other pilgs in April and you will NOT be alone on the mountains.
Take a look at the camino calendar and maybe there will be others you would like to contact before your journey.

I have walked twice in April and it is a great month for a camino.

Buen camino!

Hi Kieran,
You are sure to meet people in SJPP to walk with. One of the best ways to meet people is to stay in the albergues (gites, hostels, refuges). Often you will have a shared meal, where people tell stories and get to know each other.

There are several excellent hostels in SJPP. You can book this one in advance: http://www.espritduchemin.org/English/welcome.html (starting on 15 February), or the Pilgrim's Office will book a bed for you at their refuge.

Hello Kieran
You will have to believe it when we all tell you, that you will meet plenty of other pilgrims along the way. It is almost impossible to stay alone :) You do not need to worry and certainly you dont need to arrange meetings ahead of time.. It will happen and it will happen in a way that you never imagined it could...That is without you even trying to make it happen! Just relax and allow your Camino to unfold. This is a special Journey, unlike none-other you will ever take. Special moments, special people are all awaiting you, no need for time tables and appointments. You are on your way and i wish you a Buen Camino
