It may sound silky, but I had a small plastic donkey, named Paco. that has been on 2 Caminos with me. I enjoyed taking his picture at various points.
He almost made it to Santiago with me yesterday, but somehow got lost. I think somewhere between Arzua & O Pedrouzo on 29 May. Either he fell out of my hip pack or I left him on a marker. It would be great to have him back or at least know someone has him. A bit sentimental about losing him. Thanks.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Thanks for the idea, but sounds like a lot of paper and work for a tiny donkey, even tho I liked him a lot & it was fun taking his photos.

Even a plastic burro deserves respect; especially one that has walked so much Camino. The Burro Peligrosa rests now between the Babycham deer and Muffin the Mule, her work done and her Compostella (in vicare pro) earned.

Oh no! Jo! I really hope you get Paco back.

Have faith. A friend found a small bear on the path near Mos on the Portugues. She picked him up and carried him on her shoulder strap all the way to Santiago, asking around for anyone who had lost a bear. Someone she knew found a post somewhere from the Portuguese pilgrim who had lost the bear which belonged to his daughter. She was able to see the bear reunited with father and daughter before she flew home from Porto. Everyone was very happy.

It looks like Paco was found by Tincatinker?? I had my eyes peeled the whole way into Pedrouzo and came on here to see if he had been picked up by someone else just behind you and ahead of me. ♥️

Tincatinker has his own little donkey, not the same as mine.
So far, no luck. He was probably taken by one of the many, many Spanish teens that were walking that day. The Camino was really full several days ago on this section. Hope he found a new, good home.
