Had to board my overnight flight to Paris without my wallet last night(it was found in the rental car). I'm about to start the Camino Francis - will be in SJpP tomorrow(16th) to start walking to Orisson. Could I have it shipped to somewhere on camino?

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Hi Mary,

I had a similar issue where I needed to have a new credit card issued just prior to my start from SJPdP. The most convenient place for me was to have it sent to Pamplona. Assuming you have the means to cope for three days that might be your best bet. It did mean I ended up having to stay in a hotel while there to ensure there was a front desk that could receive and sign for the UPS package, but all went smoothly.

Good luck,

Rob.

Thanks Rob- that is good idea since I will be in Pamplona in 3-4 days. I am traveling with a friend that can spot me money until then- so I think we will try this. What hotel did you stay at...and approximate cost? Thanks so much for this idea!

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Hi again. Been looking back through my records and I stayed here http://www.pamplonacatedralhotel.com/home.html . They were very helpful and trustworthy and it was nice to have some respite from Albergues. While not cheap, I thought it was reasonable value for money. Can't remember which but I either called or emailed ahead to warn them a package was coming and when I checked in it was there waiting for me. Still I'm sure pretty much any hotel with a manned front desk would be fine.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
