Time of past OR future Camino
First Camino, St. Frances (October, 2016)
Flight gets into Madrid at 6:40 am on 9/28. Advise on getting to Santiago de la Calzada? The train times keep changing. What worked for you?

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!

Obviously you mean Santo Domingo (and not Santiago) de la Calzada. RENFE site doesn't show me any direct trains on any day because there isn't a train station in SDdlC. The closest are Miranda de Ebro, Burgos and maybe Haro so you should search for these connections ;)

Yes, Santo Domingo de la Calzada—dang autocorrect!

Okay! Hoping we can catch one soon after arriving as we would like to walk to Granon before dark! Thank you!
Hi Havnen
No hay problema..
Plenty of time .. put that link onto your phone (that @Tincatinker quoted).. for Rome2rio.. it will help you out anywhere in the world. Even to get to your neighbours house.

The screen shots from the Rome2rio search show as Tinca said, the easiest way is by bus via Burgos.
The app shows there is more than one bus per day on each stage. Arrival in Madrid after 6am - you’ll still get to Granon before dark. It’s onky 6.5ks from SDdlC. (See pic of gronze map) Relax and Buen Camino.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.
