March - April 2016 - CP advice

Greetings!

My thanks in advance as I seek advice and support from this group as I plan my March/April 2016 pilgrimage on the CP.

My first questions are related to timing.

Here is my plan (regardless of dates):

Fly from USA to Lisbon, travel to Fatima for 2 or 3 nights, travel to Tui and begin walking, by the Grace of G-d arrive walking into Santiago, time permitting travel to Finistere, travel to Lisbon, fly home April 17

I have 2 choices:

Choice 1 Fly round trip from USA to Lisbon March 30 – April 17

Choice 2 Fly round trip from USA to Lisbon April 6 – April 24

Here is what I found:

  1. The March 30-April 17 flight price is about $80-$100USD cheaper.

  2. The amount of daytime light increases quickly in March/April.
So even though these 2 choices are only 1 week apart are there other things I should consider? For example, will more hostels be available later? Is there a festival or holiday to be attended or avoided?

I did walk the CF in May 2013.

Thanks!

Thinking along the same lines time wise as you. Notice that Easter Monday is March 27 in 2016...
