Prior to reading your post I’d never heard of Orinda, California.
Most people probably haven't. It's a small town, around 20,000 population, just east of Oakland. When I was on my Camino I met two girls from Oakland who actually knew where Orinda was - surprise! - and I also ran into my dental hygienist in Roncesvalles!!
I hope everyone had a joyous Christmas. My wife and I are exhausted! In a good way! :)
