Hi all,

I have the app and have downloaded the Le Puy map (which now seems to have disappeared, but that's another story) Does MMD have a map/info downloadable for their app? Otherwise I guess I could pick up a hard copy in SJPP in a couple of weeks when I arrive there. Any preferences for MMD over Brierley or other guides for C.F.?

Cheers,
Richard.

I'm confused - have MMDD put out an app for the Camino Frances? I know there is a paper edition, but I thought the app was only from Le Puy to SJPDP.

If you are wanting to know whether MMDD (the paper edition) is better than Brierley for the CF I'd say it depends on what you want. MMDD is for accommodation and food, because it keeps current the details of everything (including hotels and casa rurals) within 5 km of the path. The name actually means "yum yum night night" - which says it all.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

Sorry Kanga - I neglected to proof read my post. I have the MMDD app and the map for le Puy, what I wanted to know was whether they also have a digital map for the C.F. I think not.
