Microbreweries on the Way?

Are there any microbreweries that are easily accessible from the French way?

I know Spain is about wine, but I do know of one micro brewery in Logroño, but other than that I'm lost.

Anyone know?

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

We didn't visit any microbreweries, but we did drink plenty of craft beer. We found it at various bars along the way - usually the bottles were displayed on the bar, so we'd just look for beer bottles that weren't the normal offerings.

Great idea. I don't know why I hadn't thought of that. I do like to visit the breweries as well, but I'm most interested in the product they produce.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

BTW, I always put a can of Estella in each boot in my bag and open one when I get home and one before I leave the next year. Traditions last.
In the top of my backpack I always have an emergency rations can stashed. Pop the top and the world looks much better!

In Leon, really close to the cathedral.... I really enjoyed http://www.fourlionsbrewery.com/edad/

Great beer and good food.
Four Lions is awesome. Really enjoyed the beer and food. Randomly started a conversation with the master Brewer and he took us on a tour of their setup in the old catacombs under the building. Heading back in 2020 and will for sure be stopping in there.

Is Four Lions where they give you a small plate of jamon with each beer? Not sure if I had an alcohol or meat hangover, but it was a tremendous evening with pilgrim friends!C800DBAE-825C-4A4E-B83B-B3606672E683.jpeg

As a beer lover myself, I always start with this page before going anywhere:
https://www.ratebeer.com/places/countries/183/
However, there are many many more opportunities for a local craft ale (cerveza artesenal) throughout the Camino. I always make a point of asking in places and manage to enjoy a local craft beer at over 50% of end stages.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.
